The title of the game is guild wars. does this mean that player guilds can fight against each other? also, can guilds be customized to the point of making buildings, custom eblems, ect....

Yes, guilds can fight against eachother. Read the FAQ and site content before posting such trivial questions.

i think you can go as far as gvgvg (8v8v8)

you cant *build* anything but your guild can get a hall to hang out in and defend if you accept another guilds challenge

custom cape do for emblem?

sry bout the lack of reading things, but i just joined and i'm tryin to get quick answers without sifting through pages of posts that i don't care about.

oh, and if 2 guilds are fighting, does that mean that those guilds are seperated from the rest of the world, so there are no spectators?

everything is instanced so there are
no campers
no pkers
no griefers
no lines for quests, missions, explorable areas
no loot stealers
etc

But they're pondering adding observer mode so you can watch PvP matches. It won't be in at release, but it may be added. It's in the latest interview.
